Renteria's Back Is Aching Again

Shortstop Edgar Renteria left after seven innings Thursday because of a sore back, a recurring pain that also caused him to skip a game earlier this week.
"As soon as he complained about it, we got him out of there," La Russa said.
Renteria, who didn't play last Saturday because of his ailing back, said earlier that his back has been troublesome for about a month.
He was one for three with a double before departing Thursday's game.
La Russa said he wasn't sure if Renteria will be in the lineup tonight against Renteria's former team, the Florida Marlins.
